Wilson County is your destination. Opened March 5, 2005, Jackson  Nature Park is a 50-acre park ideal for picnicking, bird-watching and nature study. A looped- trail system offers 1 2/3 miles in walking opportunities on natural-surface trails.

Adjacent to Cibolo Creek on County Road 401 between Floresville and Stockdale, the park is open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to dusk. Admission is $1, collected on an honor system inside the park. The park is operated through an interlocal agreement between Wilson County and SARA.
