Benefits

SARA provides a well rounded employee benefit program. Full time employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following 60 days.

Medical

We offer a Medical Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan through the United Healthcare Options PPO network. You may view the provider directory online at www.umr.com. SARA pays the medical premium for the employee and offers a competitive rate for dependent coverage.

Prescription drug coverage is also covered under the medical plan.

Dental

Dental coverage is provided at no cost to the employee with minimal charges for dependent coverage. Dental coverage provides preventive, basic and major benefits.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

We offer a confidential EAP for employees and dependants at no cost to employee.

Life

Life Insurance is provided at no cost to the employee at two times the employee’s annual salary.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

LTD is provided at no cost to the employee with a 60% benefit following a six (6) month waiting period.

Long Term Care (LTC)

Long Term Care Core Policy is provided at no cost to the employee.

Vision

Vision coverage is provided at no cost to the employee.

Other

SARA offers many other voluntary benefits for the employees. These include a generous Retirement and a Deferred Compensation package, Medical and Dependent Care Reimbursement plans, Tuition Reimbursement and Paid Leave.
